Default Fageol Tractor

Looking to start a restoration of a Fageol tractor. Wondering if anyone knows the correct color, as a Google search has shown 3 different colors, and the existing paint on one fender of the one I am doing had green. Thanks in advance.

I spoke to a descendant (grandson?) of one of the Fageol brothers, and he said that they originally used WWI military surplus paint, which I presume would have been green. However, it looks like they later switched to a mustard yellow colour, as I have found traces of that on my tractor and others have been restored using this colour. If the one you are working on is the one that sold at the recent Aumann sale, then it is earlier than mine, and may well have been green originally.

Attached is a photo of another with traces of green paint.

If that's the Fageol model with the Lycoming CT, be sure to review the various comments here and on oldihc.org re' its disintegrating potmetal oil pump and various replacements...
