Ed, I hadn't thought about that. I guess that might be a possibility for some. The show is a great place to meet a lot of people but with everyone so busy it is hard to get to know much about each other. I miss seeing Joe and Clark. It would be good to see Clark again along with many others. I look forward to the pics you feel comfortable in sharing.

Other names I remember.....Bill Winteringham, Hash brown....??? Potter, George Scott (model engines), Benny Hefner (Model engines).

Im ok with my mug shot posted. I am sure others would be too. If you are at a public event and someone takes your picture I am sure you are free game!

I will dig for some old pictures.

John told us a couple years ago that dad had been to every show from the beginning until dad's health wouldn't let him go there anymore. I remember running tractors for John when I was a teen back in the 70's.

Kelly sent me some pictures which I will post here. Some like Bill Winteringham and Bill Krumweide, I knew who they were but time is limited at the show so I really never knew them. Others like Oris I had a closer friendship. There are many others I never knew. I would like to see a picture of "Hash Brown". There are so many so please help out.

Here is a picture of Bert Koteles from Christopher Lake, SK on his Allis B. When his family thought he was too old to drive they took away his pickup. So when he wanted to go to town for a beer he used this tractor instead!

Thanks Kevin. I spoke with Bert's step son yesterday to ask for some photos of Bert whom I had known for a very long time. He worked for Western Tractor in Saskatoon, the Allis Chalmers industrial dealer.

Finally got over the Martian Death Flu enough to have have use of the brain cells required to post photos. Funny how colds, both head and chest, get more debilitating in direct correlation to my age. Here's a few pictures from 2007-2010. I have four more for the next post and Brenda is searching for a couple of prints of Harold and Jerry A. If she gets lucky in her search, I'll post them. (of course we'll have to take a snapshot of them and then download, so you may be waiting a couple'a more weeks. Like the pic that Kelly posted of me, they will not be taken at Crosby, but at one of our local shows....if they get found and somehow make it here.

First photo is Kelly and Gale.

Next is Orris riding his diesel powered scoot "UFFDA"

Third is Ben. He was pretty young then and Jerry A. was keeping him around the foundry a lot of the time. Glad he could sneak out

Last is me, Joe Heath and Clark. Joe and Clark did a lot of tractor maintenance before the show, and Joe also ran the JD that belted up to all the hard starting stuff to get them started and through the parade. We just started attending in 2007 and I started helping Orris and Loyd in the machine shop.

Guess there was only three more:

First is Clark again.

Next Joe

Last, my friend Dennis Kuntz. He is (mostly) one of the antique car wranglers.

Thanks to Ed B and Kelly T more faces have been added to the history of the Crosby show. I will add more that I received from Kelly. One is of Jerry A.(you're right I'm not sure of the spelling); Clarence Young with the Group; of course John T.; Paul Johnson; and Kelly T. Only John T is from Crosby.
