I am looking for people with tractors and equipment that have been in the same family since new or near new (some shorter length of ownership considered on case by case basis). If anyone has any equipment that fits the criteria of my book please comment on this thread!

Thanks!

Our family has a Farmall M that was bought new by my great grandfather. We have the original bill of sale. He ordered it with a Behlen power steering added on because his son in law (my grandfather) was going to be helping farm. He thought that adding this feature would make it easier for him. It burned up on the corn picker in the mid 70's and was rebuilt at that time. Today it has a old repaint but still runs like a clock. The original aluminum tag is still attached but half melted off!

Sounds like an interesting project. We still have the ‘36 C Case that my Grandfather bought new. We have a couple of pictures of it when he was custom combining with it.

My brothers and I still have the homemade tractor our father built around 1951. Search youtube for Long John posted by Dick Thompson.

Farmall Andy; I will start you with a tractor that has been in my family a long time. The tractor is a ( 1925 ) Allis Chalmers ( model 15-25 ) It is one of those green tractors that Allis built between 1914 & 1930. My father bought it from the first owner in 1947. It was 22 years old then, That was a long time back, I was 7 years old. If my math is rigth that puts me around 78. The tractor was used on the family farm in Sheboygan county Wisconsin, I now have it in Acworth, Georgia. The records say there where 1705 built between 1922 and 1927 There may be about 25 left. Check my profile to see a picture of it. Also check my thread. ( Allis Chalmers model " E " modifide ) on this same network. Roger Weinhold AKA Charlie 1925

I have 2 tractors originally purchased by my grandfather and been on the farm here since new. An early 1939 Farmall H and a 1946 BN. Also have a number of implements that have been here as long as I can remember and assume they were bought new as well.
