Default Best Wishes for 2019

Any big plans for the New Year?
My aim is to get the 20-40 Eagle back together and running before spring. Still never tackled the canopy for it, but still in the plans. Otherwise, I am looking for another steel wheeled tractor project.
There are several western Canucks who feel I should come to the Crosby show. That seems like a great idea. Some locals want to hit Rollag to witness the 150 Case. Then there could be the inaugural run of the Union Pacific's Big Boy - that might be a long shot! It could be a busy 2019.
Best wishes to everyone for a safe, healthy, and productive year in 2019.

That's a BIG Eagle! Gonna show us pics of that bad boy? Hope so.
Best wishes to you G Willikers!
Jason, you got it! Busy in mind and maybe body? We're good to go.
Me? Get ol' #2 Twin City 3 speed, 21-32 READY for work and mobile.
Crosby is on my short list but I don't travel very well. A good friend goes and I'd have a good time if I went! Duh!
Didn't know the 150 was gonna be at Rollag! Have to see. Busy in Albany right then with a four legged tea kettle.
I don't believe 4014 is gonna be ready in two thousand nineteen. Cool tho!

Prairie lads tell me it is -30C there today (dry cold ) It was just at freezing here this morning (damp cold) so I decided to renew my January 1 tradition of starting a couple of tractors. I have video evidence on my cell phone but that is of little use here.
Anyway, GS&M Beaver fired up nicely. Cranking was fairly easy with 15w40 oil in it. Ran her for about half an hour.
GS&M Ideal was a little stiff for me to kick over compression, also 15w40, but she fired up easily and ran for about an hour.
If memory serves, it was -20C here last year at this time so did not start anything.
Good way to start 2019!

Made some New Yearís Day noise for G Willikerís tradition! Started up the model R and the model M. Both started easily with SAE 50 oil inside the crankcase and lubricator.
