Default Doug Landry

Doug Landry passed away March 31 2015. Many of you folks in Texas know Doug for his love of Moline tractors and equipment. He will be missed by many.

Douglas Landry, 76, of Westphalia, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015, in a Temple Nursing Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday in the Church of the Visitation in Westphalia. Rev. Walter Dhanwar officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Westphalia.
Mr. Landry was born October 3, 1938 in Lampasas to Robert Emmett and Nettie Butler Landry. He grew up in the Harmon community in Coryell County and graduated from Gatesville High School. He served in the U.S. Army and married Rose Lee Entrop. He worked for Monroe Office Supply System in San Antonio and in Waco. He was a member of the Antique Engine and Tractor Association in Temple and the Church of the Visitation.
He was preceded in death by his wife.
He is survived by one brother, Earl Landry of Round Rock and one sister, Doris Graham of Temple
Memorials may be made to the Church of the Visitation.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m., at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.

Thank You Bill, sorry I missed seeing y'all.
Doug was a great guy who will be dearly missed. Always looked forward to seeing him at the shows.
Back when the show was still at Speegleville in 88, 89 & maybe 90 we used to stay out at their house in Lorena on show nights. We'd pile up on any extra beds, couches or the floor. They'd have us breakfast before we left.
We were always welcome to stop by and visit. Well except for the 1 time we may have relocated Kathy's Dad's train bell behind some plywood...
They shoulda been there :)
