Default novo Wrist pin lubrication

Hello, I have a 6 hp Novo That I am slowly putting back togather.Had to weld up a support boss for the cam gear, but, other than that it was in real good (original) shape. I am looking at the wrist pin and just have to wonder how enough oil gets in there.......There is a hole in the bottom of the wrist pin to lubricate the bronze split bushing, but I can not see how enough oil gets by the sides of the piston to travel down the inside of the pin and then drop down into the bushing. On horizontal designs , you get the oiler driping down through a hole in the piston right to the wrist pin. Also, is it significant the direction in wich the take up bolt is facing when placing the piston and rod back in cylinder? Thanks E.M.
