Default 7 HP New Way Twin Generator and Bracket

Looking for any info on the friction drive set up for the New Way branded, (Wizard R1), generator on my 7 HP. I have been able to make a bracket from photos and dimensions given to me by a fellow Smokstaker. I can get it to run with normal cone shaped friction drive. (see photos for mock set up). I was wondering if this is right as I have also seen a straight drive with no spring governor. Appreciate any info or photos of correct set up.
