Default Villiers Junior Deluxe parts

Hello all,

I am rebuilding a Villiers Junior Deluxe engine, and I require a new cylinder and piston. If anyone can help me find these parts it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Hi Chris,
Do you have a pic of the engine in question? A pic might also help us out.
There is a parts supplier on the Central coast somewhere but try using Mr Google and search for Villiers parts.

What is actually wrong with the cylinder and piston?

Nice looking engine too!

Thanks.

Nothing wrong with the current setup, just chasing additional spares for the future.

Options for the future could be a light bore and spray the piston, or find a piston supplier and they may be able to match one up.
If the engine is not going back into full time hard service a typical rebuild now with bearings seals and a set of rings will see it run another 60 years or more.

Thanks everyone.
This engine was used in motorcycles, however this particular engine comes from a Danarm ‘Junior’ chainsaw. It is an odd little machine, which had a frame and wheels - designed during WW2 with women operators in mind due to the men being away with war duties.

Over 50 years ago a mate had a paratroopers mini bike which ran the Villiers 175cc engine and a 3 speed gearbox. It too was a ripper!
