I was laughing at that myself... if it weren't close to 100 lbs, I'd ship it.

Would anyone within an hour or so of 18444 want this? I can't use it, so I'd rather find a good home before I have to do something else with it.

Thanks!

It's dang heavy. That's my guess. I'd rather not ship it.

Look at uship.com have a shipper come pick it up and deliver. They would prob do it real cheap.

Hi Consolenut...
Good idea....
Their estimate is $236 to ship it....
Hmmmm...have to see if a day off from work and 16 hours of driving is worth it

I would retire that switch. In its day, it was state of the art, best you could get. However, by today's standard, it is old, not as reliable and some parts are very hard to find.

If you can get by with manual operation, go with a manually operated switch. They are low cost, low tech and have no electronics to give you grief.

Keep in mind that air cooled Onans require a 3 wire start scheme and almost all of todays automatic switches are 2 wire. Can work around that but.......... Do it right or leave it alone.

I agree. At this point it's in my way and I'd hate to throw it out to the scrap man. If it would help anyone out (within driving distance) they can gladly have it.
If not, my only other thought is to gut it and use it for storage.
FYI. I have an RJC, so it's two wire start for me.

Hi Blaze..
If you decide to part it out, there a few parts that will fit my switch, specifically the exercise clock and the return to utility timer. Both of mine are sluggish and sticky.

I'll give it a week to see if someone want it whole. If not, for the price of shipping, the parts are yours.
