Default Murphy Engine Control

Did any onan diesel units come from the factory with Murphy asm 150 engine controls installed ? Or was this an add on later? In my experience murphy makes very good stuff.
Thanks Steve

That would have been an add on. Most likely the original was damaged beyond repair. I have converted several systems.

Intersting that the Hz meter centers at 55 Hz. Is that Murphy a European model of sorts???

JohnnyC , I don't know anything about this particular generator , just happened to see it on Kijiji . Unfortunately the ad didn't include a pic of the data tag, not even sure what model this one is. Since our power here in Canada is 60 hertz , I would bet beers that this generator is 60 hertz as well.

With a mid-scale of 55 Hz, I wonder if it is a "universal" meter for 50 and 60 Hz systems?

Since the voltmeter is 600V and the ammeter is 50A, I would guess it is a 30 kW unit set up for 480V.
