Default Delco 850 special starting instructions

If I connect my 850 as shown AND connect a load to the load lines, should the generator run and generate WITHOUT the 32v starting battery?

Yes it will , but it will run away.. the 32 vdc is to keep it goverened so that it will not overspeed.. the way the other pic is for when the main batteries are discharged to a point where it will not crank the engine
