Rough winter out here too. Had to haul snow down from the top of the volcano for the grand kids to play in. ALOHA AL

Monday morning 5:50 am - Snow is falling and covering the ground. I bthink it will be snowing until late morning. This sucks... It is Spring! Not winter. Yesterday it was perfect Spring weather and I started Spring cleanup by raking the lawn and was going to fertilize too. Today I got to shovel snow. No power outages yet that I am aware of. 6 to 10 inches predicted for this area. Global warming? Not in New Jersey.

The snow blew through Central PA, while we were sleeping. Nothing on the ground at 10 pm; but about 6 inches on the ground now.
Just a very light snow coming down at 7 am. We keep saying this "has", to be the last snow storm this year. Just gotta love the Global Warming. rustynuts |

We have a few gators that come around sometimes.. one is about 6 feet long but won't bug you if you don't bug it.. not supposed to go in the water at night in a small boat tho.. lots of bugs that bite.. some spiders.. have not seen any snakes but I'm not worries about them.. more so the poisonous frogs that can kill my pets if they try to eat them.. my cats keep the lizard population down.. and rats out of the onans.. |

Got to watch for the snakes. Just north of Miami in Halendale beach I saw a SNAKE curled up on ground between the trees in a clearing on a vacant lot. Maybe 30+ ft long and ~ 8 inch in diameter. Was yellow with other colors , likely a python (squeezer).
My cousins down there also talk about working in the yard, then looking up and seeing a huge snake up in the tree branches above them. that scared them S#@T less. |

Snow all finished around noontime. Heavy. We got about 6 inches, as measured on car roof. Temp is in low 40's and rising, so melting fast. A few previously weakened tree branches broke from wet snow loads.
