My cousins down there also talk about working in the yard, then looking up and seeing a huge snake up in the tree branches above them. that scared them S#@T less.
i grew up raising snakes... so it would only scare the pee outa me if i looked up and saw a big one in a tree..

lots of land and water in helandale and etc.. the everglade national park is right next to it.. which i would assume is where they come from unless a kid loses his pet snake...

We had 4" on the ground, this morning (4/2/18) WET HEAVY SNOW I had to go to Dialysis at 7 AM, and the ramps onto and off I-80 were not plowed! The side streets here in town were in better shape

Only thing to worry about around here are the snow snakes and the occasional blizzard pig around the local watering holes. Ya know the ones who love the "all you can eat buffets and your wallet.

I was supposed to meet a fellow from Jersey today along I85 to pickup a part for a project as he headed down to go see family. But other arrangements had to be made because they got a late start leaving up there. They will be in for a shock, leaving snow and it will be in the 70's here when they pass thru about 11;30 PM.

Wife loves spring when the buds come out, getting ready to bloom into flowers.

Drove to Florida one February to visit relatives. She said she got to see 3 bud days that year. Once going driving south thru N & S Carolina , again when we drove back northward, then again in a few months here at before our normal May blooming.

Had to go to Newton NJ, in order to go to the DMV office there. On the way, on state RT 206, I passed a farm stand that had literally hundreds of potted flowers out front, in huge flats. They were all covered with about 3" of snow. I bet the farmer suffered a huge loss with the snow freezing the flower plants.

Think it was in 1971 that Utah had snow on June 6th.... enough there were cars spun off the highway. Not common, but can happen.
