Default When was it invented? (AC motor capacitors)

Evening everyone, I am wondering when was the AC oil capacitor invented roughly? I haven't really found much info searching the web thus far. I want to say the 1950's?

I've got an 1944 ARRL manual that has ads for oil filled caps, their design would date to the '30s. I am pretty sure oil filled caps go back to at least the late 1800's.

the basic store for static charge was the leiden jar

Its invention was a discovery made independently by
German cleric Ewald Georg von Kleist on 11 October 1745
and by Dutch scientist Pieter van Musschenbroek of Leiden (Leyden) in 1745–1746.
The invention was named after the city. [the glass jar is the insulating material]

some where between then and now oil was discovered to be a better insulator than air
ware those old PCB filled caps
