My engine is locked so I'm looking for knowledge, parts, or replacement motor.
Any other owners on here?

Great looking truck. A good start to freeing the engine would be to mix a 50/50 solution of ATF & acetone & put it in the cylinders through the spark plug holes. Be sure to put the plugs back in so the acetone does not evaporate too quickly. I have had good luck with this freeing engines.
Hurrying the process usually results in something breaking.

The truck ran when I got it 15 years ago. I removed the manifold to have it planed as it would not hold a gasket.
When I put it back on I put a little air pressure to the tank to get fuel up and blew somebodys epoxy path off the tank.
Sealed that and the truck sat, for years in my shop.
Now it won,t budge.
Soaked with everything since last winter, most just fills the manifold and runs out exhaust.

It is a long shot but more than once I have found a starter jammed giving the symptoms of a stuck engine. It might be worth loosening the starter mounting bolts to see if the Bendix has jammed its teeth. If you remove the starter you can use a pry bar carefully on the ring gear to try to turn the engine in both directions.

I assume you have tried rocking the truck back & forth in high gear.

I removed the starter. It works good.
Jacked one rear wheel off the ground and put a rock bar through the wheel.
No luck in any gear. Next I will remove radiator and get on the crank directly.
Maybe pull distributor to rule out it jamming up.

If it were me, I would remove the head and see what is really sticking the engine. It may be just a valve or lifter not allowing things to move and too much force trying to twist the crankshaft may just make things worse. I did an engine that was stuck in a KS5 truck last winter and once the head and pan were off it was quite easy to get at things and get the pistons out. It was a stuck valve that was hanging up and causing most of the problem. Tom Underwood in Kansas had most of the parts I needed but he was liquidating at the time but try him just the same. Some of his inventory went to other sponsors here on the Stak.

I agree, just been dragging my feet on it.
How to contact Mr. Underwood?

My K2 has a handcrank. Does the D's? maybe you can use that to help it along. A stuck lifter would allow the engine to make a partial revolution and then stick . Wouldn't hurt to put penetrating oil on whatever you can get to. Rob
