Default Unknown Ford or Mercury Tail lights

I have this pair of tail lights. I've tried running the numbers and haven't been able to identify them. Ford and Mercury keep popping up, so it apprears they belong to that family. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They will fit in the 66 Merc, but the lens is a bit different in the center. Usually those factory lenses have the year in the part #, on this one it would be 66.

Good call! I searched 66 Meteor and it looks like a match. Thank you!
