Default AGND magneto needed

Hello, All
Hey, I'm in need of a magneto for an AGND engine. An AGN engine will work also.
The part numbers that will work are FMXD1B7R1 / Y-107B-S1 or the early Y-107A-S1 for the Fairbanks-Morse magneto and for the Wico magneto, it's XH-2523B / Y-108B-S1 or the early Y108A-S1. These are CCW magnetos.
I could also use the ignition timing assym. (Distributor) YF49A-S1 or YF8D-S1 ??, if no go on the magnetos.
If anyone has a good(hot) one let me know please.
I'm missing parts for the Wico, so if you have those, that may work. IE. points, codensor and cap. I do get a zap from the internal coil. Please look at pictures to see the missing parts on the Wico. But, how can you see what's not there..... you know what I mean.
Thank you for looking.
Kevin S.

Hello, Pat.
Let me start off by saying, thank you very much for digging through your stuff looking for the magneto. That was very nice of you.
Yet, I'm sorry but, that magneto will not work(I'm pretty sure). Mine has 33T on it's gear. But, is it a ccw rotation with 15 degree advance?
Once again, thank you very much for taking the time to look for me.

You can easily remove and swap the drive gear from one magneto to the other.

Hello,
That's kinda what I was thinking/hoping/wondering, Chris. Thanks for the insight.
Yet, my drive gear(33T) has some damage to the teeth and the AEH? magneto that Mr. Barret has is 27T..
Also, I was not sure if a CCW magneto, like mine would have the same internal parts as his. I don't have the magneto parts number breakdown info.
Any insight too this would be helpful.
Thanks for your concern and replies.
Oh, I did some looking on the web yesterday and did find a site that had just about everything for the Wico XH mag but the cap/cover seems to be NLA.
Maybe it's time to call Tim at RCC and see if he has any leads.
Thanks again, guys.

Hello,
No, not yet. Stufforbud, I'm still looking. Whatcha got???.
Yet, I did find out what is wrong with mine. "It was" the spark tripping arm that broke off the plate (#62 in shop drawing)and was wedging its self behind the snap drum. Must of bound up the movement causing the cam and magnetos gears to clash a bit.... Every thing else in the engine is still where it is suppost to be, besides the teeth of the cam gear.
Talked with Tim at RCC and he sent a shop drawing of the magneto, since it's not on the WIENGINE site. A very helpful guy.
Heck, I can't find any part of the small spring#59, must of been ground to bits.
So, yes. I'm still looking for a magneto that will work.
Thank you for your inquiry.
KS.

You lost me, where are you finding #62 and #59? The Wico parts breakdown only includes 57 items, yet the magneto in the most recent pictures is clearly a Fairbanks Morse. The Fairbanks Morse impulse coupling is XV2563C for the 1B7R magnetos. Your magneto is in bad shape. That drive gear is garbage. It is all chewed up. How the impulse failed is beyond me. Youd have to force it backwards really hard to break the impulse mechanism. One of the two springs in the F-M magnetos is clearly visible in picture #2. The pawl spring is missing. Just buy a complete impulse assembly and drive gear or find a more suitable magneto worth rebuilding.

I have buckets full of F/M mags and not a one has a straight tooth gear. I can however fix you up with a CCW impulse if you wish.

I just noticed looking at your pictures again, that appears to be a 4 cyl. CCW impulse that was on your engine.

Hello, All.
Does anyone have the maintenance manuals on these Wico XH and FairbanksMorse fmx magnetos on PDF file, that they can send me?
A complete parts diagram and parts list would be alright also.
Then, Chris and I could be on the same page and in the same book......
Yes, Chris that is an FB-M FMX1B7R magneto that has the damage(it was on the woodspliter) in the latest pictures. The incomplete Wico magneto in the first pictures is on the newer to me replacement engine. But, it is missing some parts...
Bud, I'm not sure that I understand you about the CCW impulse being from a 4cyl. I don't know the difference.... It has ZY stamped in the top piece of the impulse coupling. But, it has been in operation since I got the engine 15 years ago, and has worked fine. Well, until the arm on the impuse coupling came apart causing the damage to the cam and magneto gears. It may have suffered from some abuse/shock when the original engine took a shit two years ago(It ate the cam and crank gears).... and let go now??, I don't know....
I do have an engine put back together(the newer to me salvage yard one). Everything checked out on the inside; so, I'll give it a go. It's just a back-up engine. All that is needed is another magneto, to see if it will run. My running engine on the woodspliter is still under 6-7' of hard packed snow.
So, as a recap. I'm looking for the manuals or parts diagram and list for the two types of magnetos for the AGN(D) engines. For the knowledge of what I have and so I can use the correct parts names and numbers.
And, I'm looking to buy a Good(hot) magneto for this engine, either a Wico or Fairbanks-Morse.
Thank you all, for your time and efforts.
Kevin S.

Hello, All
Still looking for some parts or a magneto for this ANGD engine.
Anyone have anything.
Thanks again K-Tron for sending me the parts diagrams and service bulletins for the Fairbanks and Wico magnetos. I at least know what parts I'm after, now.
KS.

The Wico magneto is Y-108-B.
The Fairbanks Morse magneto is Y-107-B

That segregates the two on the Wisconsin dealers’ parts shelves.
