Default Wisconsin S-12D Dipstick

I purchased a Lindsay air compressor recently. It’s powered by a S-12D. I got it running nicely and it makes a lot of air but the dipstick is missing. Has the original cap but no rod. Can anyone tell me the length it should be or where I could get one?

Just checked my S-12D for you.
The dipstick is a rod extending from a standard pipe plug threaded into the top of the crankcase casting.
The overall length of the rod is 7 5/8" from the bottom of the plug.
There is a groove marking the high oil level at 7 1/8" from the bottom of the plug. When tightened, the plug extends 3/8" below the surface of the casting. Depending on the spec. number or your engine, the dipstick arrangement may be different, but the above numbers will establish the correct oil level.
