Photo Trade school engine found in old Chicago house.

This small engine was found in a old house in the city of Chicago.

It looks to be a school project or a kit engine.....it is unmarked.

Very nicely made , the crankshaft and connecting rod are fully machined.
The Schebler carburetor is 1/2" NPT , I've not seen one that small before.
I don't think it was ever painted.

It would be interesting to find out who made it , any ideas?
