Default Briggs-Lindsay Air Compressor

Picked up a new piece for my Briggs collection. I believe it is a Lindsay air compressor with a Briggs model ZHL. Turns over looks like it should run, serial number 4243. Are these Lindsay's pretty rare? Thanks Garry

Good luck with your new purchase. I sold it for a friend. Hope it turns out to be a good runner.

Lindsay compressors aren't real rare, you just don't notice them until you own one. Looks like you got yourself a nice one. I'm picking up my fourth Lindsay compressor at Portland next month. There's a few of us here that have an affinity for these, so don't be afraid to ask questions, if you have any.

Nice find !!

Mike is right, you don't see too many of them, untill you own one and then they find you ! I used to have 4 of them, 3 of them were R's and one was a ZL. Greg Ackerly (Grega) has a couple of them now, I kept one for myself. Greg also has a very similar one like this too !!

I have one almost identical to yours. Is your shroud aluminum?
