Default Wisconsin AC4 engine looking for gaskets

Picked up this engine to mount on a tractor project. It looked very complete
I will be going thru it to get it running today got spark but could only get it to pop every so offen.
Is there a source for gaskets for this engine in case I need to break it open
I have included photos to help identfy it

Wow, very nice AC-4! Although your engine looks complete, the carburetor and air cleaner are off a Briggs & Stratton, likely a Model Z or ZZ. The AC-4's used a Stromberg UR 3/4" cast iron carburetor, and used an oil bath air cleaner (mounted outside of the power unit) like you would find on a THD/TJD. Looks like you will also need a new blower screen (Wisconsin SE-20-B). That can be made with ease out of expanded steel. Im sure the entire screen interchanges with something off maybe an AHH or a VE4...The original muffler is missing, those cast iron trumpet mufflers are about impossible to find. Tim Stine likely has some parts for these engines. The AC-4, like its big brothers the AM-4 and AP-4 are overhead valve engines, they are a bit different than the more common flathead Wisconsin engines that everyone is more familiar with. I have an operators manual, service manual, and an illustrated parts list for the AC4, if you need any information let me know,

The AC-4 makes 16 horsepower at 2600rpm, and produces a maximum of 39.5 lb/ft torque at 1600rpm. I think it will make a very unique power plant when its ready to use.

Chris

I noticed the cover on the carb side of the engine in pic 4. Don't think I've ever seen that before. If I did, it must not have stuck out. I can understand keeping hot air away from the carb but where did they expect it to go? Seems like it would trap the heat.

Might act as a hot air pipe to the intake manifold
Seems to direct hot air at intake and away from carb.
