MDJE is a common 2cyl 7.5Kw Water Cooled diesel Genset. This model usually
has an Onan YD Genend attached. The YD Manual has all the wiring diagrams for the "J" series engines in the back. Manual number is 900-0184 and is
available from any Cummins/Onan Dealer. Be nice to know what the voltage
Genend Spec is? (3C, 18, 9X, ect)

The -3C means you have the YD Genend, with two 120Vac Sator windings,
that can be connected, in series for 120/240Vac, or parallel for 120 Vac,
Single Phase. By dropping the neutral from the center of the series connection, you can have 240Vac single Phase as well. Nice for Standby
for a house or Prime Power for a cabin. A neighbor has both an MDJE, and a DJE in his cabin's powerhouse. He went and got a import car radiator with an electric fan, and put that in the Secondary Cooling Loop and removed the Wet Exhaust completely. He uses the cooling loops heat for CoGen Hotwater,
and cabin heat, instead of burning up a lot of firewood in the winter. Works out very nice, as he only needs to run it a couple of hours a day to keep the inverter batteries charged.
