small red/blue is the dpe winding

this rectifier assembly cannot be tested accurately with ohm meter
there is more in it than just a bridge rectifier
if you ohm it from the dc (large term)to the ac(small term) you will read about 20 meg ohm one way and about 1 meg ohm when you reverse the leads

new rectifier is # 66850gs $56.40

i checked the dpe wires while flashing and got 30ish volts red to blue
hooked the rectifier bridge back up and still got 6ish volts blue to gray

use the original parts lookup on the left, it has the wiring diagrams
the service manual can be ordered from any briggs dealer, if you want the manual part number i will post it tomorrow when i get to the shop

the rectifier assy. has surge protection built in it ,mov,resistor and another diode
