I chose one big directory because it would be easier to search and it eliminates having to duplicate files that belong to multiple products. But I admit sub-folders would be easier if I was including text files with hints or tech tips from the forums that relate to specific models. But so far the sub-folders have looked messy to me.

Also I don't think that carb was from an NHE, probably it was an NHD

It should still work though.

I just have sub-directories for ~ 10 or 15 of the popular gen models.
Manuals for service, parts, install, operator manuals

I just started by googaling one Onan manual number, then increasing the number by one and regoogalling. Found a bunch that way.

These manuals are so helpful fellas. Thank you! I think the first check is going to be if the carb bolts up to the manifold. It worries me that none of the carb mounting gasket numbers match. May be an Onan thing. By the looks of the regulator, I am thinking I have a liquid LP model. So that may be different too. We will see.

My plan is to use a small parts store fuel pump for the gasoline. I see most mount right at the engine. Any trouble pulling fuel from up front where the tank is to the pump? Any advantages of mounting it any place else? I know pumps like to push and not so much on the pull. But then of course the wiring is longer.

Make sure that you get a fuel pump with the right pressure rating. Normally 2 to 3#. Too much pressure will FLOOD the Carb.

Most of the Facet style pumps should be around that. 3.5 psi max I think. Too much?

And with as far as I will be pulling from, I doubt I will reach the rated pressure of the pump.

Don't use a normal car gas pump, pressure is too high. Float in carb may not be able to close and can't stop gas from leaking out, fire hazzard.

If you have a pump inside the gas tank, you can't tap the lines coming out of the tank. The tank pump makes too much pressure. I have this situation and I plan on adding a bulkhead connector thru the tank itself.

As far as gaskets, I just get a sheet of paper gasket material (car store) and cut my own, it's faster. For circles I use a sharp razor blade and press a corner in for many short cuts that eventually make a circle. Do it on a flat piece of wood. In a pinch I've used the paper box from dishwasher soap or thick beer 12 packs and smear all sides with Permatex 2 gasket sealer to waterproof it.

Use a Holley regulator if psi too high.
I have 2 on the boats Carter rotary pumps. I replaced the diaphragms with QuickFuel green methanol-ethanol proof so they wont rot. These things are pretty cheap and easy to find on Ebay.
Many Facet pumps are ok, they have low pressure, there is an online catalog that lists the PSI and the lift. Should work ok if you get the right one.

I put a little fuel PSI gauge on the regulator and set my pumps to 3.5 for the Quadrajets.

I was thinking something like this:

I was hoping to avoid putting a regulator on, but may have to.
