Default Little Log House Pioneer Village

Their show is this weekend. I am set up along the back side of the big tractors.
They have many nice large prairie tractors along with various working displays. A few men have on permanent display about 150 engines. Not too many single exhibitors but still a fun family oriented show.
I especially enjoy Sylvia's Garden. They are South of Hastings Mn off of 61 highway.

I do like the big tractors. The one that looks like a steam engine is a Townsend tractor. In the very early days of gas tractors, some farmers refused to change. So in an effort to win their business, this company built their engine to resemble a steam engine. It may have worked for a short time but there are few around today. Into the late 60s or early 70s there was one at the Desmoines branch of central tractor out front as a sales attraction. People use to think they were sold for scrap during the Vietnam war.

I always figured an adminiatrator would turn them . I tried turning them before loading and can turn them myself in engine ads but see no option for me to turn them. It is the sites software.

try turning your camera/phone 90 deg to a panoramic pic.
that will show more tractors and less sky and grass?

Here is more of the "it's a steam engine" Townsend. I held the camera phone side ways as advised this time. My other phone I sat on the other day would let me crop and rotate pictures. I rotated the last 4 in this phone, but they still posted turned for some reason . I hope they are right this time.
I love parade time sitting close to these mammoths I am allowed to see and hear them start and drive off and come back.
The Mogul and Fairbanks are definitely favorites.
