Default New Project Hart Parr 12 - 24

Hey Folks

The new project arrived back from the West this week, a little Hart Parr 12 - 24. Needs a fair bit of work but nothing unachievable. It as the early steering similar to the 10 -20 with the gear up on the front axle, unfortunately it is missing the shafts back to the column and steering column itself. It would be great if anyone had one with the same steering set up to take some photos of.

Its also missing the second shaft and gear from the gearbox ( Photo 3 ) if anyone happened to have a spare one or knows someone that might have a wrecked backend out of a 2 speed 10-20 or 12-24 it would be great to hear from you (0428 366 349)

Thanks for the help guys

Welcome to the forum Jake !

How come you are going for two cylinders I thought all of the family interests were one lungers ! (Well, David Browns aside !)

Sorry don't know of any small Hart Parr parts.

See ya, (and say G'day to Bill for me)

Been contacted by a friend that saw my post to you who just "may" have something to help you out, but will have to have a look to see what's on the relic before I know for sure. Not sure when I will get a chance to go and have a look though.

Will be in touch,
Graham

Thanks Graham

You'd think that Bill would have taught me better. Unfortunately he hasn't left many options in that field so its time to expand.

That would be great, whenever you get a chance

Hi Jake,
i would have liked that tractor, but didnt have the $, also knew the loosing bidder
would of outbid me, i think you got it at a good price.
I have a very rough 20c that i would like to restore and that tractor would of supplied
a lot of the parts.
I may be able to help out with parts for you shortly, i am currently trying to seal a deal
on 2 more 20c parts tractors (still not enough parts from the three to build one), that would get my restoration well on the way, pretty sure all the gears are still there, cheers for now, Chester.

Thanks for that Chester

I would be most appreicative if you could keep me in mind.

I think it was a pretty fair price and was happy with it when it got home. The few items missing are makeable though some gears out of wrecked backend would be much easier.

I'm sure you'll find enough to finish yours off, and if you need photos or measurements of anything that might be missing that this one might have just give me a shout. Does yours or either of the wrecks have the steering still mounted?

Cheers,

Mine has no steering, but one of the other ones has full steering assy, i am trying to
negotiate to obtain the other 2 and build 2 up as much as i can out of the 3, with 1 going back to the owners, at least then there would be 2 tractors well under way to be complete, instead of three parts tractors we have at the moment, so the left over parts would be for trading for parts we need, anyway i still have to get them, cheers for now,
Chester.
