Default ACN Wisconsin engine

Just picked up a Wisconsin engine at the local sale barn. The model is ACN and the bore and stroke is 2 5/8 x 2 3/4 . Would like to know year and HP. Thanks. Bill H.

Can be as high as 6hp @ 3800 RPM. Any pix?

I took a picture and I,l try and send it. Found out it was built in January 1956

Before trying to start that engine, remove the sump and clear out the glurk and make sure the plunger type oil pump, that feeds the splash trough, is working. Many crankshafts were ruined because of malfunctioning oil pumps!

Second that S100 said about the crankcase pump. Looks in good shape. How about the carb and airfilter does she have the originals?

Thanks guys about the oil pump. I never would of thought of that . It dos,nt have an air cleaner or gas tank but I think the carb is original . Bill H.
