DON'T change your battery polarity! Disconnect the battery and just switch the leads on the back of the ammeter, reconnect the battery and it will read charge when running instead of discharge. If you switch battery polarity you will probably damage the alternator

If the valve is not stuck bad, I have gone in with an allen wrench and tapped gently on valves to free them. Be careful removing the head bolts, as Wisconsin's are noted to brake off. I have started mixing a little diesel fuel with my gas to help lube the valves. I find the gas today runs hotter than the old stuff. In real hot weather I will mix up to 30% fuel. It smokes a little but the engine sounds better and runs cooler.

I use 50 to 1 - 2 stroke oil. Put about an ounce to two per gallon of fuel. I use the two stroke oil in my common rail, 5.9 Cummins in my Dodge Pickup when I tow because of the ultra low sulphur diesel fuel.

IF you have a stuck head bolt or even before you try to remove them, take a punch that has at least a 1/4 inch face on the end, put it on the CENTER of the head bolt hex and rap it a few times with a ball peen hammer. This sets a shock through the bolt and helps to brake it loose. Oil the threads when replacing the head bolts.
