I see a lot of familiar faces in those photos. Ivan Toth , Bill Huff, Paul Johnson, Kevin Roth and wife, Dad Dennis and sons Benjamin and Joseph, me and my son in the one, Charlie Simpson, Gene Pock, Kelly and Jessie Tyslandvick, Ed Dina Bud Calloway, Bill Winteringham? and of course John T.

So there was a gap in there where there was no show? I was wondering, since 2019-1961=58...

John mentioned that the first show in 61 had a different name and stopped in 65 the present show organization ( Divide County Historical Society) was started later in 1969.

FWURTH mentions Ivan Toth in post 41. I had communicated with Rumely Bill Krumwiede for years and bought the NOS early E master gear from him. He gave me Ivan Toth's name who I contacted for years about their old family E of which his brother's widow had control. Ivan could be contacted in Ontario in winter, but not in summer when he was playing with tractors. When I heard that he'd died, I called another Toth in Canada and got Barbara Toth's phone. She would not set a price on the E or even on the extra wheels and master gears. She sent some nice pictures of that old E. My friend went to see that E, but she only wanted to get offers with no intention of selling to him. Her daughter is an engineer and interested in antiques but thought restoring the old E was too much and so she sold it to someone nearby.

Ed, was there a senior Ivan Toth and a Jr.? I normally hear from him every Christmas, but didn't this year, he's about my age. Kevin, you hear anything?

I think the Toth with the Model E were different folks.
There is Ivan who worked at the power generating plant near Estevan and who lived up near Saltcoats. He used to get to Crosby every year and used to run the 20-40 Eagle tractor that was there 25 or more years back. He retired from the plant and may have had some health problems. I think he is still going strong although I have not heard from him in some time.

Frank; I bought the gear in 1999 and it came in 2000 with a B radiator for Ron Miller. I don't recollect the family member who said he'd died. It was probably in 2004. The guys at Crosby should know about another Ivan Toth.

The one that helps out at Crosby is the one I know, a long time friend. I know his health hasn't been the best so I was worried.

Williston is not far away and has a good abundance of hotels and rooms available.
