Default "E.A." Now help for Old Iron Addicts

My name is Vic, and it's been 43 days since I bought my last rusty old engine. Before I found "E.A." I used to buy just about any rusty old thing with a flywheel. I couldn't sleep or work properly, I had rusty junk stashed all over the place, my disease was out of control ***

" ENGINES ANONYMOUS" - Help for those seriously addicted to rusty, greasy, smelly, broken ***

No wait, I'm falling off the "Horse Truck" ahhh!

SHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Don't tell my wife about E.A. I'm sick and like it.
I think they brew coffee in the hopper of old engines at the meeting.

Where can a fellow purchase a rattel can of rust so I can reverse the gleaming paint work on these engines? You can purchase anti rust primer, but no rust.

All jokes aside, Wayne Grenning has some marvelous ways to antique new parts and poorly painted engines he's stripped. But some of it's a trade secret to him.
Other guys have done it too, and I'm sure have different procedures and lots of overlapping things too.
Electrolysis is one little part of the answer though. I've hooked things up backwards to pit them u/rust them a bit. It' worked well.

That will not work for me. I have already got enough parts to be put in the hole with me to build an engine. It is going to take a long time, but I will have plenty of that. Besides who wants to be cured. Bill K

There is no cure for this illness you can only treat it by continuing to expand your collection. Enjoy your collecting and someday your family will have lots of treasures to remember you or a really big auction or both.
