Default Novo Air Compressor - HB Compressor?

I just received a Novo KU 3X4 that is paired up with a air compressor and I am curious about the compressor.

On the compressor, HB is cast into covers bolted on to each side of the compressor. Is HB the name of the company that built the compressor? Is HB the initials of the company? Have not had much success googling for "HB Compressor" or "H.B. Compressor"

Its kind of a cool looking compressor and I am just kind of curious about it.

It looks to me like a compressor for making the compressed air to start a large diesel engine.

Steve, H.B. stands for Hobart Brothers. Same company as the welders. They built all sorts of electric and shop equipment. Hobart Brothers was started by the same man that started Hobart Machinery (of industrial Kitchen Mixer fame). H.B. was an effort for his sons.
