Default Vertical Famous Flywheel Rotation

Hi, I just pulled my 3 hp Vertical Famous out of storage. I'm not familiar with verticals, can anyone tell me which way you turn the flywheels for starting? Toward the cooling tank or toward the battery box? Any help is appreciated. (This engine may be going up for sale.)

When standing on the timing gear side of the engine you will turn the flywheel in the clockwise direction.

When trying to figure rotation rmember that the exhaust valve should open at the bottom of the stroke and close at the top. If you turn it backwards it will be opening at the top and close at the bottom.
