Default Fairbanks Morse Diesel

I recently bought vertical single cylinder Fairbanks Morse diesel. The I.D plate is missing. I have not been able to find much information on this engine. It is mated to a 8in Fairbanks Morse water pump. Any help would be great.

Looks like a Fairbanks 36A diesel to me. They are great running and sounding engines when everything it correct on them. I am fairly certain they made them in 4 1/4" bore and 5 1/2" bore sizes.

Thanks for the information. This unit was headed for the scrap yard. The engine rolls over after going through the fuel system hopefully it runs. For 500.00 not a bad find. Thanks Steve

Hi Steve great save!. Hope you can keep it all together as a working display, I think I'm a bit jealous.
