Default delco generator

Y1-4422, this is on the plate on the generator itself, this thing is quite large, 50kv on a diesel engine, I know you guys are big on gas engines but I hope that you could give me some info on it, it says general motors on the radiator metal and delco remy on the generator, I have pics and more info if needed
