Default Avery Plow Guide

Down here at Marland Travis sale trying to keep things out of the junk I bought this from one of the junkers. Marland had said it was a plow quide for a big tractor. Opinions ?

A disc plow would be way heavier and all cast. Also look at the way the scraperis oriented as it rotates. It is certainly something to ponder as to whether that would keep any prairie tractor on track. Maybe a smaller tractor?

I think it's a disc plow alright, but the mounting is different than the cub. Maybe for Allis CA?

I remember now, the story was, it hooked to the steering and followed the furrow as the plows were platforms with men on them.

Yes, but they usually use heavy cast wheels that didn't look like discs for plow guides. I haven't ever seen an Allis undermount disc plow.

It is not off something extremely old as I see the brackets are welded on that pipe.

I missed seeing Lindy and FWorth it sure does resemble the Cub Disk Plow. I agree, or maybe Allis. I saved it from the junk man. It may be seen at LeSuer in 2019.
