I did not get to the pictures today, but the casting numbers all end in W. From your information can I be confident that this sweep is manufactured by Buffalo Pitts? You also mentioned matching numbers in a parts book. Any idea where I might get a look at one?

The baker Hamilton catalog I have for Pitts unfortunately does not have the horsepower part numbers it is only for engines and threshers ranging from 1882-1894, I am including pictures from the case catalog hope this helps.

If you all are still interested in horsepower engines, I think I might know someone that has one. I'll check and see if he still has it, and if I can get pictures of it and post them here.

Blueberry;
Here is the link for a Dingee Woodbury frame with output shaft and pinion on the underside (Post 18). Wood appears good. It's been in a barn since the iron was scrapped in the war time. There are at least three sweeps with equalizing hardware. I may have some more pictures. The owner wants to find a user so it is used and appreciated.

I have more pictures which were sent to me by I phone. I have no idea how to transfer I phone to My Pictures so they can be used. PM to me and give your email and I will forward several emails each with one picture to you. Cursed Iphones!
