Default Kohler6.6C61 generatorGenerator

generator worked reliably ,supplying power to a single 100w,120v light in barn/shop as needed. during normal operation, power output stopped, with motor continuing to run.Attempted flashing to restore output but unsuccessful. Voltage measured at ac terminals less than30. Previous voltage was 120 and 241. Engine starts normally using starting windings of generator. I removed 2 large capacitors to replace them since one post indicated they might be source of problem. I need information on capacitors to purchase new ones. Are there only 2 capacitors? What else might be cause of sudden reduction in voltage output?
