I'd only give about an inch of slack and when it comes to Coolspring....it's zero tolerance. We're gonna miss you Mike. Jason

Just checked the weather for the swap meet . Looks like it will be cool with a slight "chance" of good weather (between the rain drops). But, the weather just might keep us under an umbrella, tarps and in all the buildings of interest . KK and I are going anyway on Wednesday with some goodies to have "FUN" in Pa. on the way through. You know, it is what it is .

It sprinkled all day. But not too bad. Tomorrow is supposed to be nicer with little chance of rain. The field is not rutted so come on over!

It rained almost all day today and therefore the grounds were a mess. Boots were the only good way to get around. I had planned to stay until Saturday but decided to bail out around 3:15 today. Still had a great time.

The rain on Friday kept most folks away and many left. A few needed a tow to get out of the "MUD" and slick surfaces. Saturday was real light with only a few new faces and some work was done in the FEH building, like unloading engines. Thursday-Friday and Saturday were long 15-16 hour days while doing "STUFF" into the wee hours. I heard rumors that some were up just "Having fun" into the early morning hours (not me). On Saturday evening around 6:00pm 50 +/- of the "ENGINEERS" and a few others were treated to a vegetable stew, clam chowder get together which was topped off with an engineers surprise birthday cake for desert. All during this, the 35HP Bessemer just kept idling without a miss. After listening to the Bessemer running for quite awhile, Dr. Paul Harvey gave it the nick name “Heart Beat". It really sounds like a "Heart Beat". After all the "FUN" and social interfacing , KK and crew greased up and winterized the 10 and 35HP Bessemer’s. We left around 11:30pm Saturday night, up at 6:00am Sunday morning and home by 2:30pm. It was a good show in spite of the weather meeting old friends, and making new ones wile trying to have "FUN" on the way through wherever I am . We tried to find the end of the "Coolspring" rainbow, but it was to elusive .
