Default Value of an Oshkosh engine

I was wondering what an approximate value of an Oshkosh engine would be. I have a chance to possibly purchase one and am not sure what would be a fair price. I don't know the condition or horse power at this time. Thanks for any help.

Four cycle or two cycle? I think that would make a difference. It's very hard to place a value on an engine like that. Not to many of those are changing hands very frequently. You need to get the seller to put a number on it and negotiate from there to a price you are happy with.
