Default Matthews Lighting Plant

Hi, I have a Matthew's Fully Automatic Lighting Plant which I'm currently restoring made by the Matthew's Engineering Company of Sandusky Ohio. It is a single cylinder engine with a general electric generator. I believe it is dated at about 1920. I have very little information on this lighting plant and I would appreciate any information someone might have. Thanks. Sean

Sean,

I have a few Matthews light plants and some information, and would be glad to help with what I can. What do you need? Technical info? History? Parts?

If you can post or send me a picture that would help. Be patient as only get a chance to check my computer every few days.

Thankyou Will for your quick response. I would appreciate some technical data and some history.

I live in Australia and there are very few of these lighting plants here that I know of. My plant is basically complete apart from the switchboard componets. The only picture I have of one is on an old advertisement from 1930 selling them as 2nd hand units. I will post a photo as soon as I can.

Thankyou. Sean
