I have a Pincor power unit AC/DC 250 watts No.1 (American)(1A)
Model BD-12-A serial No.7225
Pincor specification No. SS-2856-1942
I believe that this unit dates to WW2 and was used in 15 cwt communications trucks.
In an earlier post several months ago someone advised that this unit was a Johnsons Iron Horse.
I have eventualy got round to examining the unit and have found that the coil is cooked.
Does anyone know what type of coil, part number etc is used and where I can obtain a working replacement from?
All the best,
