Default Herrmann (Little Aristocrat) Engineering Co 1915 V8?

Herrmann Engineering Co was well known for its 1913 or so to ??
Little Aristocrat" marine and stationary 21/2 x 4 inline 4cyl (sometimes called the Popular Aristocrat or just Aristocrat)...
The same engine was apparently used in CycleCars/Light Cars of the period; an ad states it was used in 16 makes...
In 1915 announcements, including specs and line drawing illus, appeared in trade journals of a V8, apparently basically two of their 4s put together
Does anyone here know whether that V8 ever got off the drawing board?? Any mention in any old/odd engine books??
Herrmann was re-org into Carson Motors in 1916; Carson continued the Little Aristocrat but cursory Googling finds no mention of a Carson v8...
Also posted to oldmarineengine and AACA. Manu thxx for any comments...
