Default general question about tubing

Hello everyone
I have a question about some tubing
i want to scratch build a scooter like a cushman or pony cycle
and have no idea about tubing size. I would like it to be strong enough
for adults to ride on. Any help would be appreciated.

You could use sizes ranging from 1/2" dia X .06 wall to 1" X .125 wall depending on how you design, triangulate and gusset the frame and how much you can stand for frame weight and size.

Friendly advice: For this project overbuild instead of underbuild. You won't be sorry.
Sounds like a fun project. Good luck and hope to see some pics in the future. Arlie
