Default Economy speed adjustment lever.

The speed adjustment lever, at the bottom, where it makes contact with the rocker arm, what should the length be after the 90* bend? This is on a 9hp, if it matters, and the one on mine is about .0625"+/- out of the 90* bend, and will only slighty contact the rocker arm in the slowest speed setting.
