Default MM Twin City JTS

While you all were fighting the muck and snow at Le Seuer, I left and went to Watertown driving through snow drifts and picked this up. Am I dumb or what?
This will be my first venture into a tractor restoration. Does anyone know where to find a shop manual and or parts manual for the JTS?
Also need to know where to find an oil filter 'element' and a gasket set. The motor is free but judging from the gunk in the oil filter and the rust inside the block where antifreeze should be, I am going to tear it down.
The governor and carb were frozen up but am making pretty decent headway with them.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Dave

Jensales has the J service manual, but I don't know if it would be applicable to the JTA. Great looking tractor remains though! Good luck on the restoration.

A good looking project! Have seen much worse!
Jensales does have reprints. Manuales and litterature are written up using the row crop because there were only 469 standards made. There is only one very small original advertising leaflet made featuring the JTS.
I have a very nice original manual, a hood and source for oil filter replacement here.
Check with Olsons Gaskets, most of the original or NOS gaskets and engine parts seem to be gone now.
Spend extra time cleaning out rust scale from inside the coolant passages, as leftovers can come loose later and clog holes from head to block causing "hot spots" around cylinders and valves. Good luck
