Thanks Don, I've updated the list to include all 4 of your family's 16's! Nice collection. How about some photos?

I updated the known list to DS, CC, Highwheeler, and skid.

I've attached 2 photos of my brother's 16.

Hi to all,
Beth I saw you are missing my skid engine serial number. Here you have it:

1147

It is stamped on the cylinder.

All the best

Davide

Thanks Boogie & Davide. I updated the information!

Here's a photo from the Old Engine site of Ken Eder's 16. Might anyone have its SN#? I see the brackets are there for a canopy...and a Peerless in the background.

Beth

Casemaker, Tom , & Colin:

Thanks for the information, I updated the list--one of the advantages of being a subscriber. That saves band width.

Still looking for pictures to reflect these engines. A few of the Highwheelers would be nice.

Beth

Here are a few interesting shots to compare the various 16's.

The first is #1665:

The next is Atzinger's 16 as seen at Rushville several years ago. Lyle used to have this at Mt Pleasant:

The last is Joyce Hoffmaster's 16 with the Parson's water wagon. Joyce & Dan did a fine job restoring this engine. She told me that she purchased it out of Missouri and had wanted it for many years before realizing that dream:
