Default Onan 6.0DJBF J Generator Fuel / Oil Filters

onan 6.0DJBF J generator fuel / oil filters. I have this generator and have a difficult time finding oil / and fuel filters for it. some say Fram filters are crap. any ideas? also Ive seen a lot of old fram filters on ebay, would the filter material have gone bad over time?

I would look up Wix or some other brand. From what I have seen of Fram. They are not the quality filter they used to be. Just as Champion plugs are not what they used to be.

I believe you have spin on fuel filters. if so

WIX 33365 and 33366

Oil filter WIX 51084 or a filter with a little more oil capacity 51452 which is the one I would use.

WIX filters are sold by NAPA and CarQuest, they can cross these wix numbers.

I would not use Fram if it were me. Just my .02

Wix are great oil filters. The oem fuel filters are rated for 3000Hrs on the primary and 6000Hrs on the secondary, do yours have that much on them? Cheers Dan
