The '36 D should take a DLTX 6 carb if I remember right. If not, probably a DLTX 16. They're identical carbs other than that the 6 has a bronze body and the 16 is cast Iron. I'm working on a '37 D as we speak. Just a warning: D parts are pretty pricey! lol.
