Our local annual show will host the featured Keck Gonnerman and John Deere. Last year we had 26 steam engines of all actions till dark. We had four oil pull tractors set up on one pulley sawmill or prony brake. Image that! A popular crowd.
Come on up and see us in all actions! Only 22 days left before the show begins!

HalfKeck and the rest of the KGB...are you coming? I realize HalfKeck might have been removed from the membership for having a Gaar Scott in his driveway!

I'll be there at least on Sat.

Days are counting. Only 20 more days to go. Exhibitors it is time for a wash and touch up! Don't let your cat walk on your fresh paint cause it dirty foot prints or scratch.

I thought I bring up the post. At least 16 days to go.
We have four bundles of wheat wagon to thresh this year. Normally six. The fair ground wants to combine some instead threshing.
Please let me know if you need any information about the show, exhibiting, fleas or motel nearby. Private message me.

Who else plan on coming to Lagrange ?

I will be there as always. My father and i will be part of the half scale saw mill exhibit that is owned by Butch Vollmar. Dad owns a Turning Half scale 65 that we run. Lagrange has always been a good show with allot to do. Plus it helps that I live in Lagrange so it doesn't take much to get there

Just at least two weeks away before the show begins!
I want to be aware that steam engineer who want to plow will be in north and south center of field around the parking lot.
They rotated crop on soil.
The new large horse barn already built and the gas engine area will probably shift a little.
Food vending remain the same. Hopefully pork burger ??
Old fashioned Soda ice cream stand showed up annually. The ice cream is old fashioned variety for your taste bud
The Keck collector are coming along with steam and Keck gas tractor.
I received many phone calls this week for those people having questions and informations about the show.
Another gentleman plan to bring semi loads of Waterloo Boy tractors. Expecting at least 12 Waterloo Boy tractors on display!
I will keep in daily posting within a week prior to show schedule.

There are 7 days to go! Does your exhibit ready to go? if you are a visitor. Did you check your engine oil or tires? We are hoping the weather goes well for the plowing and other activity.
For further info about show please call or pm me.
thanks

Not looking good, we are going to have to work some overtime this month to pay for all the gas we burned the last two weekends going to Adams and Boonville. Hope the show goes well and and the Keck feature is a success.

Well, Travis....I'm sure we could put you to "work" for some extra cash..........you need to con your banker into convincing the boss you need a $20,000/MONTH raise!...then you can repair that 16 Keck, find or create the 160 Keck...and so on!

If you can make it great! If not.....we'll post pictures for you!

It doesn't look like I'll be there either. I've changed jobs and I'm also trying to establish a new KGC branch house while working in the deep, deep, South, but I'm not having much luck. (Doesn't seem to be much of a demand for steam engines in the middle of the Gulf)

I was there on the show ground this afternoon. The guys are doing the set up all day. Fence posts, flagging parking, wood piles, sweeping are done. I swept the floor for Rick Brewer announcing stand.
No tractor or gas engine arrived today. The two steam traction arrived this afternoon They are 80 Case lap seam #30727 and the freshly painted 18 Keck Gonnerman # 1835. Another Keck should be coming shortly.
Not many days before the show start August 7th.
Gas price start going down.
Who else plan on coming to show ?

I was out there on a set up again. Two other steam engines have arrived today. The Advance Rumely and a 17 hp George White.
First time this year on Friday and Saturday will have a horse power hay press.
Gas price went down to 3.75 here today. Looks like a good chance for them to go Lagrange
1/4 inch of rain fell here today. I am glad the dirt dust settled down. Another dangerous storm is forecast late tonight. The forecast for Wednesday thru Saturday is partially sunny and cloudy in lower 80's and high 70's. Oh I hear just a second ago a tornado siren went on just a short time. Hope don't hit here.

Only few days away before the show starts August 7th!
