Default Tecumseh generator engine id help

I have a Tecumseh engine run generator. It is quite old. The problem is I dont know what engine other than a Tecumseh it is. Let me try to explain as best as I can. It is a Zeus Power generator model zs-500. Manufac. by Anzac Industry out of Cleveland Oh. It is a .5kw 115v 4.35amp, Freq 60, PH 1. It is all original as far as I can tell due to the paint and condition. It is dark green but not military green and has a white handle. It sets horizontal not vertical. It is 2cycle and where the sticker for the motor was has been long gone. I know it is a Tecumseh due to the stamp on the flywheel.
The numbers I could find on the alum. tag on the block, is a follows, on the top of the tag, #1481 and underneath that the number is 4903508. Basically it works, but if I in the future need parts for the engine, I would like to know what I am buying it for. Thanks for your help.

You might go to this site and try and contact a guy by the handle of T-Man.
He is a Tecumseh tech! Might have to register and send him a PM to get his attention! Just try post first, but sometimes he disappears for couple weeks and a picture of your engine would be good also!

Are you sure it's a 2 cycle and not a 4 cycle?

Thanks for the details, I am narrowing the engine specs down a little I think. Yeah it's a 2 cycle as it takes 16:1. More looking at it, it has Lauson Power products on the carb, and Tecumseh on the flywheel. I believe it to possibly be a 1.5 to 2.5 hp engine. It is quite small. I will post pics soon.

Go to this link

http://www.perr.com/phpBB3/viewtopic...&t=9429#p69868 and send TPusher a e-mail or a PM. You can see where he answered a guy here at this link
http://www.perr.com/phpBB3/viewtopic...&t=9429#p69868

He is a Tecumseh specialist: He changed his handle (name) recently from T-Man to TPusher!

Or you can register at the perr site and post your questions about your Tecumseh engine!

Just a coupple of ideas. Tecumseh made 2 cycle engines for ESKA outboard motors and a Toro snow blower. The ESKA guys are at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/eskaoutboards/. I think I have the snow blower. I would expect many parts to be common and the IPL might be useful.
What kind of igniton does it have??
